Count in order: the non-dealer's hand, then the dealer's hand, then the dealer's crib. The first player to reach 121 wins, even in the middle of counting.
Questions
How many points do you need to win cribbage?
A standard game is played to 121 points, which is twice around a traditional 60-hole track plus the game hole.
What is a skunk in cribbage?
If the loser has fewer than 91 points when the winner reaches 121, the loser is skunked, which often counts as losing two games. Below 61 is a double skunk.
Why are there two pegs?
The back peg shows where you were before your last score, so everyone can check the count. It also lets you catch mistakes.
What's the highest cribbage hand?
29 points: three 5s and the Jack of the fourth suit in hand, with the matching 5 cut as the starter.
